Know Before You Publish: Journal Evaluation, Author Rights & More In-Person

This workshop is for graduate students getting started with scholarly publishing. You will learn about tools and strategies that can help you:

  • Identify journals in your research area
  • Evaluate the quality of open access journals and avoid predatory publishers
  • Understand your author copyright, including when and where you can post and share your published articles

We will use Library-subscribed and free tools such as Journal Citation Reports, Scopus, and Sherpa/Romeo.

After registering, you will receive a Google Meet link one day prior to the workshop.
